Abstract

Background: In 2020 there was a decrease in the number of National Health Insure participants. The lack of the number of participants was 1.687.113 people. This decrease can be seen from contribution assistance recipient participants who pay monthly dues. Paying dues independently is an obligation for contribution assistance recipient participants, which is different from contribution assistance recipient participants who are paid by the government. The classification of the segment with the most arrears is in the segmentation by Non-Wage Recipient Participants.

Aims: The purpose of the research to be conducted is to determine the correlation between income level, knowledge, education, history of disease and ability to pay to the willingness to pay contributions by the community.

Methods: The research was using crossectional desain study and survey method, conducted in December 2021 online using a google form with 30 respondents. The analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. Univariate analysis was conducted to determine the frequency distribution of each variable to be analyzed. In the bivariate analysis using the Fisher Exact test because it does not meet when the analysis uses the Chi-Square test.

Results: The results of the study show the relationship between willingness to pay to income, knowledge, education, medical history and ability to pay are as follows: 0,048, 0,179, 1,000, 0,483, and 1,000.

Conclusion: there is correlation between willingness to pay contribution and income. There is no is correlation between willingness to pay contribution to knowledge, education, medical history and ability to pay.
